How to Set Weight Loss Goals For a Better 2017

Every year we make resolutions, and we start each year with great intentions to keep those resolutions.  If you’ve made a weight loss goal this year, read on for inspiration.

Let’s make 2017 the healthiest year that we can.

The biggest key is keeping in mind that nothing is more important than our health.

When setting goals, it’s important that we set diet goals as well as exercise goals. They go hand in hand. We all have great intentions. But sometimes we fall short and setting unrealistic goals can lead to failure.

The key in setting realistic goals, is coming up with things that you can conceivably do.

And don’t be too hard on yourself. We don’t all do everything right every day.

What Diet is Right for Me?

This is my favorite question. I can’t tell you how often people ask me this.

The truth is simply this…

The best diet for you is one that you like and one that you can stick with.

Obviously, you want to pick something that’s healthy. My motto has always been balanced fats, carbs, and proteins. You don’t want to deprive yourself too much because you won’t be able to sustain that type of diet.

Use exercise to account for some of the bad eating habits. But, the key is really a diet that is doable and that you like.

You should never feel like you’re on a diet. It really should be a lifestyle.

The 17-Day Diet is a balanced diet, and that’s why I love it so much. It’s not extreme and it’s not low calorie. It’s filled with so many options. For me, it’s the best way to live.

When you’re picking your diet, make sure it’s something that you like and something you can do. It’s all about lifestyle.

  1. I have just started the first cycle. I would like a more precise definition of a fruit serving. eg peaches/plums – one or two? Grapes – half a cup? Don’t want to overdo it.
