Dr. Mike’s Power Cookie Recipe
Here is the ever so popular 17 Day Diet Dr. Mike’s Power Cookie. These are high fiber, high protein, low in fat and absolutely delicious cookies that make a terrific snack. You won’t believe how good they are! Add some dried fruit or nuts to make them your own!

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat together applesauce, almond paste, flaxseed oil, Truvia, and agave nectar.
  3. Beat in egg and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, pepper and whey powder. Beat thoroughly.
  5. Stir in oats, cherries and almonds. Mix well.
  6. Divide dough so that you have 18 cookies.
  7. Drop the batter by large tablespoons onto a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with vegetable cooking spray.
  8. Flatten each cookie with the back of a spoon.
  9. Bake 16 to 18 minutes or until brown.
  10. Remove from oven. Cool and store in a plastic container.
Recipe Notes


  • Use 1 tsp of almond extract for the almond paste.
  • Replace flaxseed oil with olive oil
  • Add your own favorite dried fruit and/or nut combination!
