Here’s what Peggy had to say about participating in the challenge:
“I decided to do the May Challenge because I needed a jump-start on my weight loss. I tried a diet that was mostly packaged shakes and needed a diet with real food. I’ve tried Cycle 1 before on my own, and failed to follow it due to lack of support. The great thing about the challenge is that I had tons of support and the others in the challenge helped keep me going. I had people that cared about my success and having others doing the same thing made it seem easier to complete.
From doing this challenge I learned many new things. The biggest one is surviving the withdrawal from the bad carbs I was eating. I also got great recipes that I could prepare
quickly and suggested meal plans that took all the guess work out of planning my weekly meals. Since the challenge, I have motivation to do Cycle 2 with I am on now. I’ve already lost 7.5 pounds and I feel I have the tools to lose the remaining 62 that I’ve had on my radar for awhile.
